It’s been a busy and meaningful few months here at Creating Smiles Dental! From a life-changing mission trip to Peru to celebrating our patients’ generosity, an exciting nomination, and a can’t-miss offer on same-day crowns, we have a lot to share with our St. Petersburg family.
Dr. Brayer & Family Created Smiles in Peru
This past summer, Dr. Brayer and her family traded their St. Petersburg routine for a dental and medical mission trip to Peru, bringing much-needed care directly to communities that don’t have easy access to it.
Together, they traveled to several cities across Peru, setting up care where it was needed most. Dr. Brayer’s husband, a medical doctor, worked right alongside her, and even their children pitched in to volunteer with the local communities. It truly was a family affair and one that made a real difference for the people they met along the way.
And yes, in between the volunteering, the Brayer family also hiked the Inca Trail! It was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure to match a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip.
The best part? This isn’t a one-time thing. The family has already committed to returning next summer to continue serving the communities of Peru. We can’t wait to share more updates as that trip comes together.
Recap on Our 1st Creating Smiles Day
Thanks to you, we donated 190 meals to the Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP)!
On our very first Creating Smiles Day, every patient who said YES to their dream smile helped make an impact that reached far beyond their own smile. For every yes we heard that day, we donated 10 meals to HEP, an organization we’re proud to volunteer with regularly.
It was incredibly rewarding to watch patients light up with confidence as they chose to finally prioritize themselves and invest in their smiles, knowing that same decision was also helping feed our neighbors in need. We were honored to hand-deliver the check to HEP ourselves, and it meant so much to be able to give both our time and our money because of you.
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our first Creating Smiles Day such a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
